In 10”92 (0.4 m/s of wind), the whimsical American sailed, like the other favourites, the five-time Jamaican world champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce (11”01, 0.2 m/s), her compatriot Shericka Jackson (11”06, – 1m/s) or the Ivorian Marie-Josée Ta Lou (11”08, 0.9 m/s). They all have an appointment on Monday evening for the semi-finals then the final of the straight line.
