Comments on the NFL preseason start

Mark Donovan (President Kansas City Chiefs): “Our team and fans are very excited about our growing presence in Germany and are particularly excited for the upcoming Frankfurt game in November. Our agreement with RTL Germany and its various platforms ensures that the Chiefs will be in Germany, Austria and Switzerland will reach an audience of millions on free TV and via streaming. Coupled with the documentary ‘The Franchise’, all football fans in Germany will get unique insights behind the scenes and can see the Chiefs season through the perspectives of our players, Track coaches and staff.”

Kristi Coleman (President Carolina Panthers): “We are thrilled and honored to be part of the first-ever NFL game broadcast on RTL Germany with the Panthers. It’s an exciting time for Panthers fans. David and Nicole Tepper have hired our new head coach, Frank Reich, and given him the opportunity to to assemble a coaching staff that is widely recognized as one of the most experienced, diverse and talented in the NFL. Meanwhile, our General Manager Scott Fitterer has worked hard to systematically improve our roster over the past two years, and this year marked the end under a strong offseason by securing us the first pick in the 2023 NFL Draft and selecting Bryce Young. We would like to further strengthen our commitment in Germany and welcome all NFL fans to accompany us on our way.”
