Report from Luton, the Premier League’s beloved little thumb

Generally, the training centers of Premier League clubs impress with their immensity and the cold modernity of their buildings. Last week, by entering that of Luton Town FC (LTFC), which finds the English elite this Saturday on the occasion of a trip to Brighton (between 1955 and 1992, Luton Town played 16 seasons in the First Division) , we were struck by the low number of courts (five, none of which are covered) and by the rudimentary appearance of a brown brick house, whose supposedly blackout windows reveal the silhouette of the players when they take their shower.
