Basketball Bundesliga club Rasta Vechta has completed its squad for the coming season. The American Richmond Aririguzoh should support the Lower Saxony on the way to staying up in the center position, as the club announced on Thursday. The 24-year-old with Nigerian roots has played for the Crailsheim Merlins in the Bundesliga in the past and most recently played for the Kangoeroes Basket Mechelen in Belgium.
“Richmond already knows the BBL and has played a more important role after his year in Crailsheim in Belgium,” said Rasta coach Ty Harrelson about the last newcomer for the time being. Those responsible for the promoted team are very satisfied with the current squad. “I’m pleased that we were not only able to retain top performers from last year, but also managed to bring in players with first division experience in different countries,” said sporting director Gerrit Kersten-Thiele.
