While it was announced yesterday that West Ham United is interested in Quilindschy Hartman, 1908.nl reports on Tuesday morning that another Premier League club is following the defender. PhD candidate Burnley would pay millions for the 21-year-old left back. At Vincent Kompany’s club, Hartman should act as the replacement for Ian Maatsen, who has returned to Chelsea.

The usually well-informed Feyenoord medium knows that The Clarets have so far not sought any concrete rapprochement with the club management of the Rotterdammers. However, it is certainly not excluded that this will happen later this transfer window. Burnley currently only has Charlie Taylor as an option at left-back.

It was previously reported that West Ham is also charmed by Hartman. The Hammers however, did not proceed with official bids yet. Feyenoord does not intend to let the talented defender go just like that. The estimated value of Hartman is reportedly above twenty million euros. Feyenoord does not even want to negotiate for offers below that amount.

However, the national champion of the past Eredivisie season hopes that Hartman will simply stay with Feyenoord and extend his contract. The left back played an important part in winning the title last season and is already making a good impression during the preparation for the new season. In the exhibition game against Benfica, Hartman was good for an assist on Santiago Gimenez.
