Like a symbol. Almost two years to the day after the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan, Zakia Khudadadi won the gold medal at the European Para-Taekwondo Championships on August 14. A resident of INSEP for almost two years, she competed under the banner of the refugee team during this continental tournament. “Getting this medal was not easy. I worked very hard for this day and this medal. I am very happy and proud of myself”, testifies the one who imposed herself in the category of -47kg.
