He gave PSV the first prize of the new football season on Friday evening and played a fine match against Feyenoord. But Noa Lang made the most impression after this duel for the Johan Cruijff Scale, during the award ceremony. He involved a number of children with disabilities in the festivities. Much to the delight of many fans.
Just like the PSV players, Lang had the children hold up the Johan Cruijff Scale towards fans in the stands and took a picture with them. “I have a big mouth sometimes,” the wing attacker admitted after the game. “But I also have a small heart.”
“Noa Lang has a good heart.”
With his action, Lang, who as an ex-Ajax player and ‘man with mannerisms’ was viewed somewhat skeptically by some fans when he was signed by PSV, generated a lot of goodwill.
“I’m probably going to get annoyed with him next season, but Noa Lang has stolen my (Ajax) heart,” Wijbren said on X, the former Twitter, when he saw the wing attacker celebrating with the children. “Noa Lang has a good heart, even though his interviews seem different,” Tijmen noted.

PSV won the game for the Johan Cruijff Scale 1-0. Long was the scorer, deep into the second half. He tapped in a nice cross from Ismaël Saibari – after a nice long pass from Olivier Boscagli.
