NFL Teams Celebrate Heritage with Retro Logo Helmets: Denver Broncos and Detroit Lions Lead the Way

While many teams boast their completely retro uniforms, there are others that only chose to retake their old logo and give the helmet a modern touch, such as the Dclose Lions and Denver Broncos.

With the rule that NFL Eliminated in 2022 that prevented teams from having more than one helmet, the teams do not necessarily need to bring out a completely alternative uniform to honor their golden times, a clear example are the Lions and Broncos that this 2023 will give a special touch to their different outfits with their old logo on their helmets.

Denver arrives with a white helmet named “snowcapped”, which refers to the constant snowfall that falls in the capital of Colorado. In addition, the vertical line that divides the helmet, together with the retro logo, pays homage to the first look they used at the beginning of their history in 1960.

Detroit will celebrate its 90th season with its new alternate blue helmets that pay homage to the organization’s heritage with a classic logo of the 1960s0. The metallic blue featured on this helmet has never been used in the NFL, plus it includes a matte gray face shield.
