The Mets players collected the gold leaving no chance for the Panthers who lost in front of the score 12-0. This result was a pledge of the almost perfect season played by the team of The Peninsula who suffered only one defeat during the ten games played. As far as this tournament is concerned, the team has no losses to its credit. It should also be noted that the team won 2nd place in the Rafales Tournament 2b which took place in Boisbriand last July.

It is impossible to ignore the impact of pitchers Annjulie Giroux-Cuerrier and Zoé Roy who gave no time at bat to the opposing team. Head coach Marc-André Roy mentions that these are strong from the experiences acquired during previous seasons. In addition to the double program they followed, off-season training, they regularly replaced in the U13. The two young girls are also approached to play at the level 2a.

At the start of the season, nearly half of the 13 players in the Mets walked on a softball field for the first time by joining the team made up of 7 experienced players. Those who were in their infancy in this sport found themselves faced with a major challenge: to reach the same level as their teammates. Challenge in which they have bitten deeply, supports their trainer. One thing is certain, they rose to the challenge brilliantly.
