Mercato: it’s done! Leandro Paredes leaves PSG to sign for AS Roma

Discussions between PSG and AS Roma ultimately did not drag on. As we wrote this Monday noon, the Italian club has finalized the arrival of Leandro Paredes. After several days of negotiations and discussions that had slowed down over the weekend, Roma and PSG finally reached an agreement in principle for the transfer of the Argentine midfielder (29), placed in the loft since about twenty days. His medical visit is scheduled for Tuesday.

Renato Sanches towards a loan with an obligatory purchase option

The sale of the 2022 world champion will bring in nearly 4.5 million euros including bonuses for the Parisian club. After a stint on loan in the jersey of Juventus Turin last season, Paredes is therefore preparing to return to the Italian championship and a club he knows well: the Argentinian had already defended the colors of AS Roma in 2014 -2015 and 2016-2017.

At the same time, the two clubs continue to make progress on Renato Sanches coming on loan. Invited to leave PSG this summer, the Portuguese midfielder should soon take the direction of Rome and find his compatriot José Mourinho, at the head of the transalpine formation. Paris and the Louve club settle the final details of a loan with an obligation to buy around 15 million euros.
