The Democratic Party and the Sustainable Movement have asked for an urgent majority check after the agreement with the Ghelfi List. A ‘solitary’ political step, this one, born without prior consultation with the forces of the centre-left. To date it is not known whether his chair is really at risk or not, but it certainly doesn’t look good anymore. Because right now, he’s counting more what hasn’t been said yet than what’s come out.
The ‘beautiful narrative’ of the first year, that of “we are all united and all goes well”, was abruptly interrupted.
The criticisms received directed by the Sustainable Movement on the agreement with Spalletta, even if in the context of confirmation of trust, are only the indicator of a deeper malaise that is smoldering under the ashes and that someone, in political positions, is making do ‘ Bad thoughts’. A magma of opinions that have not yet emerged from the rooms because we are awaiting the top management and the PD executive where the agreement with Spalletta, according to rumors, has created some ‘strong embarrassments’.
It must be said that the grumbling started from afar, or rather from the case of the purchase of the ‘Alfellini’ cinema, a much publicized situation but also a very boggy one in its development. This is because the time required for the project to become fully operational is quite long and due to the fact that conflicting opinions have always emerged on the structure: from the alleged lack of anti-seismic standards to the problems that emerged, according to some opposition forces, between the purchase and the definition of the illegal building practice concerning part of the building where the cinema is located, dating back to 1986 and still pending. Themes that in some areas of the centre-left (including the issue of investment itself) have generated perplexity. The noisy farewell of the City to the Government and the entry of the Ghelfi List, born in an environment historically allied with the right and then moving towards civicism, did the rest.
And then those poorly written and worse served points of the agreement: from the history of Coop 44, where there are sentences that no longer give the story the opportunity to continue with regard to the Park Asset Plan, up to the Palafiera, the costs of which would be exorbitant (and then in which area?) for a complex territory and in a historical era full of pitfalls on an economic level, up to the illegal nuclei on which various dynamics operate which have always been annoying for any administration.
There are also those who are now whispering that the deal with Spalletta could be blown up. On the other hand, in politics everything changes in 24 hours. For better or for worse.
