The multi-sport event will take place from August 19 to 31 in the Siberian city, to which Cuba will attend with 47 athletes in five disciplines: wrestling, diving, judo, women’s futsal and rhythmic gymnastics.

The evening, held at the headquarters of the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation (Inder), was dedicated to the imprint left by Fidel Castro since the revolutionary triumph of January 1, 1959, when he planned to take sport to the top as as far as possible, as the right of all the people.
