LPGA Boutier 3rd player in the world

Winner in Scotland on Sunday, her third title of the season, Céline Boutier is now on the podium in women’s world golf. A national record, as the British Open, the last Grand Slam of the season, starts on Thursday.

After her victory on Sunday at the Scottish Open, her second success in a row after the Amundi Evian Championship, Céline Boutier has gained a place in the world rankings. The Frenchwoman is now 3rd in the Rolex World Ranking, behind South Korean Jin Young Ko and number one American Nelly Korda.

Engaged this week at the British Open disputed in Walton Heath (England), Boutier could in the event of victory reach the first place in the world next Monday. This would be a first for France in professional, in the female and male ranks.
