LPGA A mixed start for Boutier in Canada, Yuka Saso at the helm

With a card of 73, Céline Boutier finds herself 31st in the CPKC Women’s Open. Perrine Delacour is the best Frenchwoman (9th at -2), just four strokes behind the leader Yuka Saso.

Céline Boutier skipped the ISPS Handa World Invitational. A week of well-deserved break after her successes in the Amundi Evian Championship and the Women’s Scottish Open. For her return, in Vancouver for the CPKC Women’s Open, the No. 1 in the Race to CME Globe had a rocky day as the Parisian made four birdies and five bogeys. The Frenchwoman thus finds herself 31st at +1, alongside Pauline Roussin. Céline Herbin is 86th at +4.

In the tricolor clan, Perrine Delacour got off to the best start. Starting from 10, the 29-year-old had nevertheless conceded three bogeys on the return (for two birdies). The native of Laon raised the bar on the go with three birdies and no bogey. The double winner on the Epson Tour thus returned a card of 70 (-2) to rank 9th after the first round.
