Bola.net – Manager Liverpool Jurgen Klopp said Wataru Endo’s debut performance was pretty good even though he was actually tactically illiterate and had not slept for two days.
Liverpool are looking for a new defensive midfielder in the summer of 2023. They failed to recruit Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia.
Liverpool then made a surprise. They recruited Endo from VfB Stuttgart.
The name Endo himself was never previously associated with Liverpool. In addition, he is also 30 years old.

Debut Against Bournemouth
Liverpool announced the recruitment of Wataru Endo on 18 August 2023. That was only one day after the match against Bournemouth on the Premier League stage.
Endo initially sat on the bench. But he was then played by Jurgen Klopp in the second half, in the 62nd minute to be precise.
He entered to replace Cody Gakpo. Klopp put Endo in after Alexis Mac Allister was sent off by the referee in the 58th minute.
Even so, Endo didn’t look nervous at all. He can carry out his duties relatively well in lining Liverpool’s defense.

Jurgen Klopp said Wataru Endo’s performance in the match against Bournemouth was quite good. Even though Endo played without fully knowing Liverpool’s tactics.
Klopp also said Endo lacked rest. Because he had to undergo a number of processes to complete his transfer from Germany to England.
“That’s two days that he has so not surprised by that. [sementara] it really is [tampil] fine. It comes there [dan] don’t know what to do,” he told Liverpool’s official website.
“I spoke this morning with him about how with 11 players his position would look, but 4-4-1 is not in our conversation. That’s all for now,” Klopp explained.
“I don’t think he’s slept much the last two nights so he comes in now and throws everything he’s got on the pitch and that’s it,” he said.
