LIV Puig joins Wolff in the lead at Greenbrier

This Saturday was the second round of the tenth tournament of the LIV season, in Greenbrier, West Virginia, USA. David Puig has joined Matthew Wolff at the top of the rankings.

The leader’s seat currently hosts two competitors in Greenbrier. Leader after the first round, Matthew Wolff returned a card of 67 this Saturday. If the American conceded two bogeys, he immediately remobilized each time to follow up with a birdie. More broadly, his five birdies made throughout the day allow him to remain at the top of the leaderboard at -12 total. However, the 24-year-old was caught by David Puig.

Dolphin after 18 disputed holes, the Spaniard finished the course in 65 strokes (six birdies, one bogey) to pick up the lead during this second round. The third step of the podium (-11 total) is occupied by a trio formed by Richard Bland, Talor Gooch and Bryson DeChambeau. The captain of the Crushers GC made a nice rise in the standings by recording a formidable score of 61, the best of the day, thanks to nine birdies and without conceding the slightest bogey.
