More broadly, his five birdies made throughout the day allow him to remain at the top of the leaderboard at -12 total. However, the 24-year-old was caught by David Puig.

The third step of the podium (-11 total) is occupied by a trio formed by Richard Bland, Talor Gooch and Bryson DeChambeau. The captain of the Crushers GC made a nice rise in the standings by recording a formidable score of 61, the best of the day, thanks to nine birdies and without conceding the slightest bogey.
