Linebacker Logan Wilson Signs Contract Extension to Continue with Cincinnati Bengals

CINCINNATI — Logan Wilson he understood the situation when the offseason began.

“I still think this contract allows them to do those things with the guys, and hopefully we can keep them for the long haul as well,” Wilson said Sunday, a day after signing a four-year extension worth $37.25 million.

The top three draft picks in the 2020 class of Cincinnati (Burrow, Higgins and Wilson) have been headlines as the Bengals have become permanent contenders for the Super Bowl. On Sunday, Wilson said being a part of that vital draft class was “rewarding” and “demanding.” He also played a role in her desire to stay with the franchise.

“We all support each other,” he said. “That’s weird, too, because sometimes guys are just trying to get their own way. The camaraderie from the whole team that we have is rare and that’s another reason I wanted to be a part of it.”
