Kudus leaves Brighton and opens talks elsewhere in the Premier League

West Ham United have started talks with Mohammed Kudus. Fabrizio Romano reports this on Monday afternoon. In London, they want to capture the Ajax player (23) in case Lucas Paquetá leaves for Manchester City. Kudus, who previously seemed on his way to Brighton & Hove Albion, is open to the move.
The future of Kudus has been a topic of discussion for weeks. At the beginning of July, Ajax already reached an agreement with Brighton, which has forty million euros left for the Ghanaian. However, there is still no question of a personal agreement. Ajax already gave Kudus an ultimatum, which has now expired. It seemed that the left leg would stay in the Johan Cruijff ArenA for another season.
Now West Ham is joining the conversation. The Hammers have been very active in the transfer market since the record sale of Declan Rice. They already removed Edson Álvarez from the amount and are now also thinking about Kudus. The attacker must replace Paquetá, for whom Manchester City wants to pay more than 80 million euros.
Kudus was still accurate on Saturday in the season opener of the Eredivisie. With the 2-1 in minute 75, he was the match winner in the 4-1 victory over Heracles Almelo.
