Josh Hart agrees to 4-year, $81 million contract extension with New York Knicks

Josh Hart has reached a contract extension agreement with the New York Knicks for an additional 4 years and 81 million dollars, his agents confirmed to the journalist from ESPN Adrian Wojnarowski.

The escort formed in Vilanova has been selected by the Team USA to play the next World Cup in 2023, and this past summer he already extended his ‘player option’ to give the Knicks salary flexibility. Thanks to his gesture, they were able to sign their old college classmate Donte DiVincenzo (4 years and 50 million).

With the 12.96 million guaranteed for the next 2023-24 academic year plus the agreed extension, Hart ensures a total of 94 million dollars until next 2028.

Transferred from the Portland Trail Blazers in the winter market, his averages with the Knicks were 10.2 points, 7 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.4 steals through 51% three-pointers.
