Taylor, a native of Salem, New Jersey, was the leading rusher in 2021, the same season in which he was selected to the Pro Bowl, and at 24 years old he is considered one of the best in the league in his position.

In three years with the Colts, Taylor has 3,841 yards on 756 carries; and boasts of 33 ‘touchdowns’ (annotations).

The 34-year-old suffered a torn ACL on November 24, 2022 during the Thanksgiving game in Detroit, an injury from which he has not recovered, although he has remained optimistic.
