This year, Jinjiang will build pocket fitness parks in 5 villages including Qianpu Village, Anhai Town, mainly building basketball courts, badminton courts and other sports venues.
In response to the shortcomings of the public’s fitness needs, in 2021, Quanzhou City issued the “Three-Year Action Plan for the Construction of Pocket Fitness Parks”, planning to build 300 pocket fitness parks in the city from 2021 to 2023, including national fitness paths, smart fitness stations and various Class sports field. Since 2021, Jinjiang has built 10 pocket fitness parks, further improving the public fitness service system for all, and making it more convenient for the masses to participate in physical fitness.
In February of this year, the construction project of Jinjiang Pocket Fitness Park started the application and investigation work. The Jinjiang Sports Bureau, aiming at the existing “Golden Horn and Silver Edge” and land space resources that can be used in combination, sorted out the available construction resources in the jurisdiction and accepted the application. According to the principle of matching the site selection with urban and rural development, serving a relatively concentrated population, making it convenient for the masses to exercise nearby, not occupying cultivated land and forest land, and not damaging the ecological environment, Qianpu Village of Anhai Town, Panjing Village of Dongshi Town, and Neikeng Village were finally determined. Dongzhai Village of Zhendong Town, Houpu Village of Yonghe Town and Gezhou Village of Neikeng Town are the construction sites of this year’s Pocket Fitness Park. According to reports, the above project sites have all started construction. Among them, badminton courts will be built in Panjing Village, Dongshi Town, and basketball courts will be built in the other four villages.
It is understood that the pocket fitness park construction project adopts the method of “substituting rewards for subsidies”, dividing the central urban area and the non-central urban area to formulate two types of reward and subsidy standards. In Jinjiang, if the project investment is less than 200,000 yuan, the reward and subsidy will be paid within 40%; if the project investment is more than 200,000 yuan (inclusive), the reward and subsidy will be given within 30% of the ratio, and no single award or subsidy will be paid. More than 500,000 yuan.
