Jesper Lindström Joins SSC Napoli: Eintracht Frankfurt’s Offensive Player Makes Move to Italian Champions

Perfect change: Eintracht Frankfurt’s offensive player Jesper Lindström is leaving the Bundesliga and joining the Italian champions SSC Napoli with immediate effect. The Hessians announced this on Tuesday. The sports newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport had already reported on an agreement the day before. According to this, the fee for the Danish national player, who is considered the preferred candidate of the new Napoli coach Rudi Garcia, is said to be around 25 million euros.

“Jesper has played a large part in our positive development over the past two years. Winning the Europa League title, reaching the DFB Cup final and, last but not least, many special moments in the Bundesliga, he will always associate it with Eintracht and vice versa,” said Sports director Markus Krösche.

Lindström’s contract on Main originally ran until the summer of 2026. The 23-year-old switched from Bröndby IF to Eintracht two years ago, with whom he won the Europa League straight away. In total, Lindström appeared in 80 competitive games (14 goals and 14 assists) with the eagle on his chest.
