Last Saturday, Jakov Medic made his official debut in the shirt of Ajax. In the duel with Heracles Almelo, the defender stood out with a beautiful goal and a strong performance.
“When I was little I always watched Ajax, because they had the best talents in the world,” says Medić at Ajax TV. “Many top players have played football here. I enjoy every moment that I am here at Ajax.”
The 24-year-old Croat sees that it also lives in his own country. “I already have to order 500 shirts for my people in Croatia. And a lot of people want to see a match. I think we need more than a season to get all these people here. I am very happy that my family and friends from Croatia also come to visit matches,” concludes Medic.
