Denpasar Voice – Some of the Persebaya Surabaya supporters are now increasingly convinced that Paul Munster will be the figure who will fill the position of coach previously occupied by Aji Santoso.
This belief came as Paul Munster recently uploaded the results of the 2023-2024 BRI Liga 1 standings via his personal Instagram story.
Of course, this post became an interesting discussion reviewed by the Instagram base account for spreading news about Persebaya Surabaya, @psbynews.
“Being watching who kuch @coach.munster is,” wrote the fan base of the Bajul Ijo squad while poking at the coach’s Instagram account.

The upload immediately invited another Bonek (as Persebaya fan) reaction. Not a few of them believe that Paul Munster’s Instagram story post is a sign that the coach is monitoring the Bajul Ijo squad, which is currently ranked 9th with 15 points.
For this reason, some Bonek believe that the position of the new Persebaya Surabaya coach will soon be filled by Paul Munster.

Not only that, Bonek also said that it was very likely that Paul Munster had already met an agent for a famous soccer player from Surabaya, Gabriel Budi.

In contrast to @sahrul_da_junior’s comments, Bonek with an account named @amir_dxc actually believes that the Persebaya Surabaya coach will not be filled by Paul Munster, but will soon be replaced by Divaldo Alves because he is not sure enough that the Bajau Ijo squad can redeem the tactician from Northern Ireland.
“@sahrul_da_junior the agent’s job is to only offer an agreement depending on management and Paul Munster. If Paul Munster wants it, it’s just that the Persebaya management wants to redeem the rest of the contract or not. Just to note, the only Indonesian club Paul has ever handled is Bhayangkara FC on September 1 2019.
Even though this is the first time he has coached a team from Asia, Paul has proven that he can bring the team nicknamed The Guardians, which he takes care of, to consistently challenge for the title so that he sits at the top of the Indonesian League 1 title for the 2021/2022 season.

Paul is classified as a coach who values aggressiveness, so he is often nicknamed a fierce person, but also full of humor. Therefore, it will be very interesting if it is true that he will guide Persebaya to replace Aji Santoso as coach.
