The return round ends on 18 February with the city derby against Castanea 2010.

Commenting on the calendar for the next championship is GM Bruno Donia: “It will be a very strong start for our boys, because they will face a top tier opponent like Ragusa and it will already be a baptism of fire with the championship. We will meet a historical opponent at the beginning and it will do us good to understand what the level of the championship will be at its highest level with the protagonist teams. Then we suffered two challenges with teams from our league segment, obviously highlighting the derby on the third day with Fortitudo. Finally, the other particular element is the other derby with Castanea which will be played on the last day. She too will probably be a team in our segment and therefore it will be a challenge, especially with a view to the second round, significant for any positions in the standings to which the two teams can aspire”. But the point we need to focus on today is that of the sports facility. “The Municipality – continues Donia – told us that the reference sports facility for the Interregional B championship would be the PalaTracuzzi, because the improvements to be made in order to make it accessible and therefore usable for the purposes of our championship of competence, they were easier to make. Since that date, that is, since we were promoted in May, there have been only verbal reassurances, but we still don’t have certain information on the work carried out, on the visit by the Supervisory Commission to ascertain its usability. By September 10th, our club must produce the documentation certifying the presence of a viable field for the Interregional Serie B to the Federation. Just over a month to go, it’s no longer time to have simple verbal reassurances, it’s time to have certainties. It’s time to have certain dates and precise commitments, so that we can enter the PalaTracuzzi regularly. We have also been told that it will be the field where we will only be able to play home games, but the team will certainly need to train on that field, because it is not possible that the boys do not train on the parquet where they will face their opponents. We can divide the workouts into other facilities, but we also have to train at the PalaTracuzzi. On this we ask for a clear, decisive and quick position on the part of the Councilor for Sport”
