Indiana Pacers Look to Takeoff with New Additions and Improved Mentality

After a season in which the project showed very good ways, this could be a great year for the Indiana Pacers. Carlisle’s men won 35 games during the 22-23 season and were fighting for a position in the postseason until Tyrese Haliburton began to suffer physical problems, so that, after the movements of free agency, this could be the year of takeoff definitive. So at least Myles Turner believes, who has focused above all on an incorporation when talking about his options.

“I think we have improved a lot,” he said in his statements for the Indy Star. «I think we have achieved a winning mentality with the incorporation of Bruce Brown, who is coming off winning a ring. He could have gone wherever he wanted this summer and he has chosen to come build something with us. Last night I was with Chad (Buchanan, general manager of the franchise) and we were talking about the opportunity we have this year and how important the leap we can make in defense will be.

Brown has not been, however, the only signing for the Indianapolis team, who have also added a player like Obi Toppin who can fit them perfectly. The squad has several very physical and explosive men, who will help them set the pace of the match and exploit their speed.

“I love what we have done this summer. I think we are a much more athletic team and Tyrese is going to be delighted with this. I really like how fast we’ll be able to play,” Turner concluded.
