Bergsma is fit enough for a substitute and starts on the bench. The central duo in the back therefore consists of Floris Smand and Marco Tol once again. Gabi Caschili is probably preferred over Jhondly van der Meer as right back.
It also seems plausible that Milan Smit will keep his starting spot at the point of the attack, but Ultee did not want to say anything about that after training on Thursday. The 20-year-old striker scored twice against Telstar from the penalty spot.
Not constant enough
Ultee is largely satisfied with the way his team has started the season. ,,But you can see that we are not yet consistent enough in implementing our game idea. That was expressed against Emmen in two counter goals from counters, against Telstar we were pushed back at times when that should not be.”
Both times Cambuur got away with it, but there will also be matches in which that is not so easy, Ultee knows. “That’s why we’re working hard on it. What I am happy with is the combativeness it contains. You cannot play good football for a whole year, but you can always give everything.”
