Goulens Lake has taken on a new lease of life, at 1353, route de Matmont-Pachas. For the five chalets above the lake, the 6 gîtes and the mobile home, it’s complete for the whole summer. Owners and tourist tenants visit the region and make purchases in the shops. David Laveau, who bought the site 4 years ago, manages the rental and offers kayaking on the lake, badminton and pétanque, trampoline as well as games for children. You can also swim in the swimming pool of the lake. The dining room has been converted into two comfortable accommodations. A building permit has been granted for 20 additional chalets.
Florence Gil (“En avant les artisans”) organizes craft markets on Sundays in the car park, inside the leisure park (website: elea.fr). The next one will take place on Sunday August 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The merchants or craftsmen present – Adeline Pillard: Bubbles of awakening (soaps and cosmetics) – Maryne Riche: Solea workshop (jewellery) – Laura Turiaf: Furniture lives (jewellery, candles and renovation of small furniture) – Marina Souillac: Valdama (lithotherapy) – Vanessa Trauquet: MayeM (alterative universe bags) – Edeline Laloi: ED creation (baby and children’s sewing) – Mélissa Gordet: Dream knitter (wool creations).
Sébastien Alvez, event creator will be on site with his J7 (J 7 evenings, guinguette atmosphere), with his tapas, Breton pancakes, fried calamari, rougail mussels and skewers. At the bar you will find beers, wines, sangria and fruit juices. In addition to the craft markets, it organizes musical evenings or bandas evenings. It will be in Goulens, still in the car park from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., on August 18, September 1, 15 and 29, as well as for the markets on August 13 and 27 and September 10 and 24 (tel. 06 72 85 50 85 ).
