“Lakers y Knicks are already being mentioned as franchises that Antetokounmpo will be interested in in the future if he decides to leave Milwaukee, which just made a series of moves (re-signing Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez and replacing Mike Budenholzer as coach with Adrian Griffin) to try to appease the face of the franchise,” Stein wrote in his report.
The Greek wants to have a competitive squad in the Bucks to want to stay. “I wouldn’t be the best version of myself if I didn’t know that everyone is on the same page, that everyone is going for a championship,” he said.
