The period of Gamescom 2023 allowed the developers of the next NBA 2K24 to reveal to us many improvements of gameplay. The studio details its novelties with in particular:
A more intuitive attack: you will be able to make easier shots and increase your shooting statistics for the occasion.
A skill-based defense: like a pro, you will be able to improve the skill of your defense and become impassable in this area.
Adrenaline rushes: renowned dribblers will be able to show off their skills more easily with the adrenaline rush system.
Simplified training: 2K Smart Play is back on Next Generation to help players streamline their attack, defense and coaching to make it easier to execute actions.
Takeovers: the player can fill up the next-gen Takeover meter, to self-choose and activate their finishing, shooting, playing, physical, defending, and rebounding abilities.
The opportunity also to remember that the Black Mamba Edition, nickname of Kobe Bryant, will be at the center of the 2024 vintage, paying tribute to the legendary Lakers and late player. With the Mamba Moments, NBA 2K24 will retrace the key moments of his career, such as his last game with his historic 65 points (8/12 at 3-decks) against the Portland Trail Blazers in 2007. The exact number of key moments has not yet been announced. been unveiled, but we can already see 7 of them in the trailer below.
NBA 2K24 is available for pre-order for €79.99 on the Microsoft Store before its release on September 8 on the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
