FIBA held this Wednesday in Miami the draw for the 2025 AmeriCup Qualifiers and Venezuela was placed in Group A.
The rivals of the national team will be Argentina, Colombia and Chile. The rest of the groups were formed as follows:
Group B: Brazil, Uruguay, Panama, ParaguayGroup C: Canada, Dominican Republic, Mexico, NicaraguaGroup D: United States, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Cuba
The Qualifiers will be six matches spread over three windows, which will take place between February 2024 and February 2025.

According to the Venezuelan Basketball Federation (FVB), each team will play twice against the three rivals in their group, one at home and the other as a visitor.
The top three from each group will qualify for the 2025 AmeriCup.
