Feyenoord strengthened itself this week with Luka Ivanusec and Ondrej Lingr. Hans Kraay Jr. expects Arne Slot to know what to do with these newcomers.
Ivanusec was taken over from Dinamo Zagreb after weeks of rumours. “He has now proven himself as someone who plays a bit like Lang, between the lines from the left,” says Kraay at Good morning Premier League. “He plays in the Croatian national team and there is no baker in between. This is just a very, very good purchase that will pay off.”
Lingr, the attacking midfielder who came over from Slavia Prague, is also a reinforcement. “That seems to be a bit of a runner,” says the analyst. “Slot likes players who are good in the small space, that’s Ivanušec, and this is a bit of a draufgänger, maybe a bit like Til.”
