Joel Embiid could well and truly leave the 76ers in the near future. He didn’t ask to leave, but the James Harden soap opera could leave its mark in Pennsylvania. The departure of the Barbu will considerably weaken the workforce, while Joel remains very motivated at the idea of winning his first career title. An exchange is therefore a plausible option, but still a long way off.
Reunion between Joel Embiid and Jimmy Butler?
An interested franchise? The Heat, whose interest has been confirmed by a few journalists. Since the exchange with Damian Lillard doesn’t seem to be moving forward, maybe Pat Riley wants to switch targets. Bleacher Report therefore had fun imagining a 6-player trade, with Tyler Herro obviously in the mix. But not only.

Joel Embiid at the Heat? It’s a real possibility, but probably not with this trade. The 76ers will be greedy, while Miami seems difficult in negotiations. Suffice to say that it will not be easy to reach an agreement if the pivot asks for his departure.
