To get this long weekend of festivities off to a good start:

Ducasse d’Havre

Ducasse d’Havré on the village square until August 15th. Don’t miss the Cuistax race on Saturday from the château (registration required at 065/40.52.63). Many activities await you there (bingo evening, karaoke, blind test, etc.), “with the Procession of Notre-Dame du Bon Vouloir as well as a sound and light show by Edana Foa”, specifies Nicolas Martin on his Facebook page.

Ducasse de Glin

On Saturday, the Ducasse de Ghlin takes place in the Parc du Jonquois with a host of activities including a giant flea market (from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.), a 7 km marked walk (from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.), demonstration and introduction to the circus (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.), spinning (at 10 a.m.), an archery competition (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.), and musical aperitifs and concerts with in particular the St Jodi’s Band, the Flying Cervelazzz (7.30 p.m.), Lou & The Hollywood Bananas (9:30 p.m.).

Village party

Saturday, the Villers Village Festival at the Ballodrome (rue Jules Béresse) with bouncy castle, wooden games, entertainment for children, brass bands as well as a magic show by Mr. Patoche (2:30 p.m.) and a concert for children by Mr. Oliver (3:45 p.m.).

Roller Bike Parade

On Saturday, the annual parade (the Hey! Telecom Roller Bike Parade) makes a stopover in Mons. A great opportunity, under a radiant sun, to get together with family or friends and share this festive and sporting moment. All wheeled vehicles are permitted.

Please note that people under the age of 16 will not be able to ride an electric scooter. There are 2 courses: one of 5 km (+- 40 min) and the other of 20km for amateurs and confirmed. And above all, don’t forget to take your protection and hydration equipment.

Trolls & Legends (Summer)

Trolls & Legends is also this Saturday at the old slaughterhouses. This is the summer day dedicated to fantasy with concerts, a magical market, many games and activities throughout the day.

The Jazz Caravan

On Tuesday August 15, the Caravane du jazz will stop in Saint-Denis with the artists “Gaz Manouche” (2 p.m.), “Quand le jazz” (3:30 p.m.), “Nougarômes” (5 p.m.).
