This is the figure that the mayor of the capital of Segura, José Ballesta, expects this competition to bring to the hospitality and commercial sectors, thanks to the mobilization of thousands of fans of Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, ​​Unicaja Málaga and UCAM.

“Last Wednesday the term for the reservation of seats was opened and in half an hour the 7,000 places were sold out put up for sale at the Palacio de los Deportes”, as announced by the mayor, José Ballesta, this Friday, just after the Governing Board where the agreement with the ACB was approved for the capital of Segura to host the Endesa Basketball Super Cup -September 16 and 17-.

The two semifinals will be played on Saturday 16 and one of the keys to the economic impact that this competition will cause is due to one of the crossings: Real Madrid and FC Barcelona will play the first clásico of the 2023-2024 season in Murcian territory. In fact, the councilor has advanced what is expected “a cumulative audience of 41 million people“because the two semifinal matches will be broadcast live” to more than 170 countries. Barcelona, ​​and immediately afterwards, UCAM and Unicaja (9:30 p.m.).
