Customers will soon find one fewer cosmetic brands in drugstores. A well-known manufacturer has announced that it will finally stop selling it.

Dortmund – A look at the drugstore shelves does not make the purchase decision easy for some customers. Because the selection of different products and brands is huge. However, consumers will soon have to do without a natural cosmetics brand forever.

Competition among cosmetics labels is challenging for smaller brands. In the meantime, discounters like Aldi are also entering the market with their own cosmetic brands. The label “Stop The Water While Using me” from the Nivea manufacturer Beiersdorf now has to buckle. It has been part of the portfolio of the well-known cosmetics manufacturer since 2020.

The consequences of the corona pandemic as well as delivery bottlenecks and cost increases due to inflation have severely impacted the brand’s growth. For this reason, customers will have to do without products from “Stop The Water While Using me” in just a few months. The sale officially ends on December 31, 2023, reports the Food newspaper (LZ).

Customers may know the natural cosmetics brand primarily from hotels and restaurants. As the brand name suggests, a call to action is addressed to consumers. When using the products, the tap or the shower should be turned off to save water (more service news at RUHR24).

The range of “Stop The Water While Using Me” also focuses particularly on refillable product packaging and biodegradable care products. The acquisition of Beiersdorf included loud LZ originally had the plan to develop more sustainable solutions in the cosmetics sector.

Last year, Beiersdorf tried to roll out the brand again. A new advertising agency and particularly high-reach advertising measures should ensure an upswing in sales. However, the ambitions were unsuccessful, which is why all products from “Stop The Water While Using Me” are to be sold off by the end of 2023 before they are no longer for sale in 2024.
