Two defenders save FC Bayern from the next friendly defeat!
On the last day of the Asian tour (since July 24 in Japan and Singapore), Thomas Tuchel’s (49) team finally won 4-3 against Liverpool.
Thanks to two hits from two substitute talents! First Croatian defender Josip Stanisic (23) scored in the 80th minute, then in the 91st minute Frans Kratzig (20) from Bayern II scored a dream goal!
After the 1: 2 in the Tokyo test against Manchester City, the victory against Jürgen Klopp’s team (56) is now in Singapore’s National Stadium.
Before kick-off, the Tuchel line-up was a topic of conversation: Leon Goretzka (28) was on the bench for the fourth time in a row. Newcomer Konrad Laimer (26/arrived on a free transfer from Leipzig) was also allowed to play from the start in the 27-0 win against the district league team FC Rottach-Egern and in the 1-0 win against Japan’s first division team Kawasaki Frontale.

Just two minutes later, Bayern runs into the next Klopp counterattack. Almost the 0:2. Mohamed Salah (31) can’t bring the ball to the summer goal in the end.
11 minutes: Pavard hits the post with a header from four yards after a pass by Minjae Kim. He again puts the rebound just over it with a header.
After that, the German record champions had a lot of ball possession, controlled the game better, but hardly had any real chances to score. Tuchel was loudly annoyed about the lack of clarity in the last pass.

Particularly noticeable in the Tuchel team in the first half: Gnabry, Tel and Alphonso Davies (22).
At halftime, unlike in the previous friendlies, Tuchel did not swap the entire team, but only three times: Kingsley Coman (27) for Sané, Matthijs de Ligt (23) for Minjae Kim and Sven Ulreich (34) for Sommer. Goretzka had to keep watching from the bench!

Crazy! Bayern turns the game in the 91st minute: Kratzig hits with a mega hammer from 15 meters. The preparatory work came from de Ligt in his own half. A hitherto completely unknown left-back from Bayern II (was allowed to travel to Asia because of a torn muscle in Raphael Guerreiro’s right calf) saved Tuchel’s victory against Liverpool!
