Dany Basket Quarrata is further strengthened and announces the addition of the long ex Prato, back from a season in C Silver
Fourth and final shot for the Dany Basket Quarrata. The furniture makers, close to starting the season that will see them involved in the new championship, have announced the arrival of Edward Marinithe last piece of the roster available to coach Alberto Tonfoni. Born in 2002, Marini is two meters tall, raised in the youth sectors of Progetto Pallacanestro Prato, Fortitudo Bologna and Pallacanestro 2000 Prato. Wearing the Dragons jacket, the new blue-and-white made his debut in senior tournaments, playing two years in C Gold. In the last year, Marini returned to wear the colors of Progetto Pallacanestro Prato, competing in the C Silver championship.
«We are very happy with Edoardo’s arrival – commented the sporting director Marco Nannini – We have added a profile that can do really well and that can integrate perfectly into the technical-tactical chessboard of coach Tonfoni, in light of his characteristics. Instead, these are the words of coach Tonfoni: «Edoardo is a long player with great potential and who will certainly give us a hand in raising the level of the team. I have to say thanks to the club for the willingness shown in this phase of the market and I warmly welcome the boy». Marini says he is enthusiastic about the opportunity to play Quarrata: «I am excited for this new adventure. A demanding championship awaits us, but we will be ready. I can’t wait to get started.”
