Coach Terzic addresses hopes for Jadon Sancho’s return to BVB, but puts a stop to speculation

There is hope among BVB fans to see Jadon Sancho play in black and yellow again. Now coach Edin Terzic became clear.

Dortmund – On Monday morning (German time) there was a reunion in the USA: In BVB’s friendly against Manchester United (3: 2), ex-Dortmund professional Jadon Sancho played from the start. He was substituted after 77 minutes. His game with the Red Devils was rather inconspicuous. Nevertheless, quite a few fans are longing for a return campaign for the talented right-footer.

And it doesn’t seem completely absurd that the 23-year-old is again wearing black and yellow. According to a report by the British magazine Daily Star According to BVB, they have already made an offer for Sancho – but for a loan and not for sale, which the Red Devils should insist on.

When asked about the transfer speculation, Edin Terzic also commented on a potential return of the attacker to Borussia Dortmund. The head coach was very clear. “Jadon has been doing magic with us long enough to know his qualities. Jadon is a fantastic boy,” the BVB trainer began his words with great praise.

Then, however, the damper follows: “But he is under contract with Man United and we do not comment on players who are under contract with other clubs.” They were happy to see each other again.

Terzic and he have a special past: when the head coach of Borussia was interim coach in 2020/21, the Westphalians won the DFB Cup – Sancho scored two goals in BVB’s 4-1 final victory over RB Leipzig and prepared another one.

And if you still have some hope of a Sancho return, the black and yellow trainer put a stop to it. He ended his words about his former protégé with: “We wish him all the best for the coming season at Man United.” The BVB coach is apparently – as of now – not assuming that Sancho will appear in black and yellow in the coming season .
