In the video that accompanies the post in which Buffon announces his farewell to football, the salient images of his career as a footballer, from his beginnings with Parma to his triumphs with Juventus and the national team, culminating in his victory in the 2006 World Cup with the song by Coldplay Viva la vida as background music.
Within ten minutes, the post published on Buffon’s official profile received over 60,000 likes and thousands of comments.
