Brianza Archers Dominate Piedmont Archery Competition, Winning 11 Individual Medals

Profitable trip to Piedmont for the Brianza archers. In Cameri, where a double archery competition was held, they won 11 individual medals. As many as four have been won by athletes from Polisportiva Besanese: in the Olympic arch, junior by Matteo Villa (silver) and by Andrea Brotto (bronze); in the master category by Maria Carla Corti (bronze) and in the pupils by Greta Ormenese (bronze).

Two master archers of the Company of Monza and Brianza returned home with medals around their necks; conquered in the Olympic; they are Simone Canzi (gold) and Massimo Marenghi (bronze). Silver medals instead for the young archers of the hole: in the compound, pupils category, one was won by Christian Pomarico, another by Mirko Lacapra in the boys.

In bare archery, Cecilia Padovan Cat.junior with the gold one and Massimo Egidio Volpi, senior, with the silver medals (both are members of the Sun Archers Company – Solaro) and in the masters with the gold Simona Biella (Polisp.Bellusco Sez.Tiro con l’arche).

To reaffirm their superiority, the Brianza teams won five medals, all in the Olympic arc: two gold from Polisportiva Besanese with the men’s junior and student formations; give one each Archers Company of Monza and Brianza (gold with masters); one silver from the Compagnia Arcieri del Sole of Solaro (senior) and another silver from Burarco Vimercate (men’s master team)
