Pianoro’s dreams of glory died out, as he had to succeed in the sweep over Forlì – already sure of third place in the standings – and instead gives way in game 1, a match characterized by poor control of the Bolognese platform (9 hits and 6 bases on balls allowed).
Forlì unlocks the score in the first inning, with Alice Spiotta who hits a leadoff single and advances to third base, from which she scores before she can even be driven home by the triple Rich with a previous pitch not held by the catcher Carats.
After three innings with no further runs, the Romagna women definitively take off in the fourth attack, filling the bases and scoring three runs with two more bases on balls won (from Cacciamani e Veronica Onofri) and with Cacciamani’s point on wild throw of Sarah Desiientry to replace eat.
