A few weeks ago, the journalist Marc Stein assured that the Celtics intended to continue counting on Blake Griffin, but it opened the possibility that the player was not so interested in continuing his career in the NBA. “Boston is incredible,” he stated. «Living here and playing here has been one of my best experiences. The fans are incredible, and the players are a great group. For example, Tatum is one of the great superstars in the league, but he is someone super humble and super close in dealing with the rest of the team and the coaching staff ».
Griffin came to the Celtics last year, and played 41 games with them in which he averaged 4.1 points and 3.8 rebounds. Those from Massachusetts still have two free holes in the squad and rumors indicate that there is interest in keeping a veteran player like Blake, but for now there seems to be no rush to complete the renewal.
