Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur Negotiate Transfer of Harry Kane: Will the Deal Go Through?

As the TV broadcaster Sky UK reported, the Munich club bosses and those responsible for Tottenham started a new round of negotiations in poker around Harry Kane (30) on Tuesday evening. Accordingly, the transfer of the English national team captain was filed until the early hours of the morning. Bavaria’s night shift for Kane.

Harry Kane transfer: FC Bayern makes a new offer – but Tottenham wants more transfer fee

With a fourth offer, the Munich bosses around CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen want to persuade Tottenham President Daniel Levy to give in. The offer is in the range of 110 million euros including possible bonus payments.

A good, fair price for a 30 year old player. Levy imagines around 120 million euros – a large part of which should be paid immediately as a base amount. Will the deal work out until Friday or Saturday?

However, Becker Bayern also warned against Spurs boss Levy. “Other Premier League club bosses have already tried to mess with Daniel Levy,” said Becker, describing Levy as “a hard bone who obviously wants to get the most money out of it.”

Hamann: “Don’t know if Bayern underestimated the situation”

There were clearer words – including Bayern criticism – on Tuesday from ex-Bayern professional Didi Hamann: “You can’t let yourself be shown by a club owner – ultimatum or not,” said the Sky expert: “I don’t know whether they underestimated the situation. What Uli Hoeneß said certainly didn’t help. I thought to myself: You don’t know Levy very well! He knows what he wants, and if he doesn’t get it, it doesn’t exist.”

Bayern patron Hoeneß was very optimistic about Kane at the Bayern training camp in Tegernsee in mid-July. “So far, Harry has clearly signaled in all talks that his decision is there,” said Hoeneß, among other things: “And if it stays, we’ll get him, because then Tottenham will have to buckle.” The advance of the honorary president is said to have not been well received, especially by Tottenham boss Levy, but also internally in Bavaria.

England legend Lineker advises Kane to move to Bayern

By the way: England legend Gary Lineker would also welcome the change. Kane needs “finally a few trophies in the cupboard. If there is a guaranteed title in football, it’s the one with Bayern in the Bundesliga,” Lineker told “Sport Bild”.
