Bayer Leverkusen continues its squad planning. The main transfers are done, now it’s about the optimizations.
According to BILD information, the sixth newcomer is approaching: it is a goalkeeper – Matej Kovar (23) from Manchester United. He was last loaned to Sparta Prague and became champion in the Czech Republic.
Apparently he should already be on his way to the medical check at the factory club. It remains to be seen whether the transfer will be announced later on Thursday.

The 1.96 meter tall keeper could turn the tide in the box in Leverkusen in the foreseeable future. Lukas Hradecky (33)’s contract runs until 2026, but it cannot be assumed that the Finn will be number 1 until the end of his contract.
