The Argentines Tomas Martin Etcheverry and Sebastian Baez were the first tennis professionals to buy quarter-final tickets at the ATP tournament in Kitzbühel on Wednesday.
The top seeded Etcheverry wins against his compatriot Guido Andreozzi 6:2, 6:2. The qualifier defeated Styrian Filip Misolic in round one.
Baez defeated the sixth-ranked Spaniard Roberto Carballes Baena 6: 1, 6: 2 and now meets Styrian Sebastian Ofner (4) or Alex Molcan from Slovakia (NOW in the LIVE ticker).
Dominic Thiem forced Argentinian Facundo Bagnis to his knees on Tuesday evening and will meet Chinese Zhizhen Zhang in the second round this Wednesday (in the LIVE ticker and on ServusTV).
