Argentine Judoka Bautista Ahumada Competes in South American Championship for Sub-13 Category

Between this Tuesday and next Friday, the South American Championship of the sub-13 categories will take place at the Arena stadium of the National Sports Secretariat of Asunción of Paraguay. Sub-15, sub-18, sub-21 and Seniors, in which the Argentine Judo Confederation Teams compete.

In the Cadet Category team, the judoka from FAIJ Catamarca Bautista Ahumada participates, who is competing in the 73 kg category starting next Tuesday. On this occasion, the judoka student of the teacher Daniel de la Cueva from the Yukay Institute, will be directed by the coach Ángel Ríos (3rd Dan) and Gastón Sanzeri from the TAR program directed by Paula Pareto.

This great regional challenge will be a new step in the development of Bautista, South American Champion last year in Villa Carlos Paz, which now takes place under different conditions and which will serve to prepare a future that aims to achieve high sports performance. Competitions like these are part of the path to even greater challenges and are essential in modern Olympic sport in which an elite athlete takes years of preparation, training and competitions.
