Anthony Davis Signs Record-Breaking Contract Extension with the Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers have entered NBA history. All thanks not to LeBron James in this case, but to Anthony Davis, who has signed or will sign when he touches the highest renewal ever seen in North American basketball.

Because the competition is going well. It grows. It grows a lot. And you can see it. It is quite noticeable. It was noticed with Jaylen Brown, of the Boston Celtics, and now with the 30-year-old center of the Los Angeles franchise.

The Lakers, with whom he had a contract until 2025, have extended his contract for three seasons, until 2028. For each of them he will receive a total of 62 million dollars.

In total, until 2028, Davis will earn a total of 270 million with a franchise with which he won the ring in 2020, in the Orlando bubble.

Last year, despite the injuries, he was one of the most outstanding for the Lakers. He averaged 26 points and 12.5 rebounds and was essential for the Los Angeles team.

However, he was only able to play 56 games, and that is something that is weighing heavily on both his game and his franchise. Because he did two courses, he stayed at 40, and three years ago, at 36.

Despite his record, the Lakers have not hesitated and have put on his table, according to his agent Rich Paul, the largest extension ever seen in the NBA.
