After an exciting first set, Andy Murray had his opponent Sonego under control.
Andy Murray was warned before his second encounter against Lorenzo Sonego from Italy. At the ATP tournament in Doha in spring, the Scot narrowly won the only previous game in the tie-break of the third set.
The first round also continued seamlessly from the balanced game in the desert emirate. Both players could not use their three break chances in the set, so the decision was made in the tie-break.
