The Ana Nóvoa’s progression knows no boundaries. The athlete from Ourense received another reward for her work by being included in the Spanish team that participates in the Junior Badminton World Championship, which will be held in Spokane (United States) from September 24 to October 8.
The Ourense native, born in 2006 and a Club Athlos player, is having another remarkable season both at the regional and national level, which has not gone unnoticed by coaches Salvador Franco and Fran Dacal. Nóvoa will participate in the women’s singles draw and the mixed doubleswhere he will form a couple with Ramón Rovira on American soil.

Closer, successes for Club Athlos. In Viveiro the Galicia Top TTR N7 was played, which left a booty of three golds, two silvers and one bronze for the people of Ourense. Dolores Sarmiento, with a double, and Francisco Javier García climbed to the top of the podium. The latter completed his record with silver, the same metal that Jordi Vida achieved, while Dolores and Javier hung the bronze as a couple.
And in parabadminton, Manuel García Rosendo achieved four medals (two golds, one silver and one bronze) in a test on the national circuit held in Toledo and in which he showed his potential.
